I want a conservatory, do I need planning permision?

The vast majority of conservatories do not require planning permision, however their are exceptions to every rule,

You need planning permision if:

Your new conservatory is over 30sq metres

If you have already extended your property (the extension and the conservatory exceed 30sq metres)

If there is a public highway or footpath to the rear of the property within 20 metres of the new conservatory

If there is a detached garage within 5 metres of the property (the area of the garage and the area of the conservatory exceed 30sq metres)

What is the standard of a finished conservatory?

The complete base, frames, roof, glass, and electrics, we can finish to a contrete floor, or we can arrange a laminate or tiled floor.
